Launching of the exclusive “Vino Antas”, an oenological jewel with Argaric roots

Last Saturday, our town lived a historic moment with the presentation of Antas Wine, an exclusive and limited production product that is already conquering the most demanding palates. This wine, made in the vineyards of Loma del Perro, represents the link between the rich cultural heritage of our town and its commitment to a future of excellence.

Inspired by the Argaric civilization, Antas Wine comes in two unique varieties: red and rosé. The latter stands out especially for its label, which pays tribute to local history by including the drawing of the emblematic diadem of the Argaric queen, a symbol of our cultural identity.

The presentation, which was attended by a large number of people from all over the country, included a tasting of both varieties. Opinions were unanimous: “Everyone spoke wonders,” said Pedro Ridao, mayor of Antas. In addition, wine connoisseurs highlighted its exceptional quality, predicting a promising future for this new oenological reference.

This project, led by José Miguel García, from Bodegas Sierra Almagrera, has been the result of years of dedication and passion. According to the mayor, Antas Wine symbolizes “everything we are: a land with a rich history, but also with a firm look to the future”.

With a limited production, Antas Wine has already begun to reach international markets. This weekend, two pallets, with around 2,000 bottles, were shipped to Germany. In addition, the wine is already available in major hotels and restaurants in the province, as well as in the Sabores Almería store on the Paseo. Outside the province, it is also marketed in renowned restaurants in Madrid.

Antas Wine not only highlights the history and culture of our town, but also positions Antas as a reference in the wine world, with a product that seems to have come to stay.
