In an exciting step towards the cultural future of Antas, our municipality is preparing to receive an architectural jewel that will transform the urban landscape and enrich the lives of our neighbors. Thanks to the strategic investments of the Diputación de Almería, the approval and bidding for the project of the Multipurpose Building, a structure that promises to be the epicenter of cultural, social and recreational events, has been announced.
With a significant investment of nearly 1.3 million euros, this project promoted by the Governing Board of the Provincial Institution represents a crucial milestone for Antas. The deputy Antonio J. Rodríguez, responsible for Development, Infrastructure, Territorial Planning and Water, emphasized the importance of this infrastructure as a meeting point for various activities that will enrich the daily life of the community.
The strategic location of the building, situated on Zurgena Street and Puente Street, in the very heart of our town, on a plot of more than 1,700 square meters, promises to become a vibrant and accessible center for all.
Outstanding features of the building:
This Multipurpose Building will not only be a static structure; it will be designed to adapt to the terrain with a basement for facilities on the lower level and open-air bleachers on the upper level. With seating for nearly 600 people and 169 seats, it will feature modern facilities, including two toilet areas, dressing rooms, projection room and a central multi-purpose hall with stage. The most exciting feature is the opening of the stage to the outdoor seating, allowing for an open-air stage space.
The innovative design also contemplates fluid access from an esplanade to the lobby, with large sliding glass windows that seamlessly connect the interior to the exterior, merging the event experience with the surroundings.

With this initiative, our municipality is preparing to take a great leap towards a culturally vibrant and diverse future, offering a wide range of leisure and entertainment options.
