With great enthusiasm, we are pleased to announce that our municipality will receive, next December 15 in Seville, a prestigious award from the hands of María Jesús Montero Cuadrado, fourth vice-president of the Government and Minister of Finance and Public Function, during the XIX edition of the Plaza de España Awards, which will be received by our Mayor Pedro Ridao Zamora.
This recognition is the result of the “Plan Argar 2020-2030”, which began with the “International Argar Symposium”. In this event, internationally renowned researchers generously shared their knowledge, giving rise to various initiatives such as the recreation of the Argaric houses, the historical representation of the Argar and, soon, the inauguration of the Argar Museum.
Thanks to these efforts, Antas will become an attractive tourist destination, offering visitors the opportunity to enjoy our rich heritage, history and environment. This will contribute to position our municipality as a cultural reference in the area, complementing other relevant tourist spots in the Levante.
We express our deep gratitude to the organizers for considering our municipality to receive this award, which recognizes the efforts dedicated to enhance the value of our historical and patrimonial wealth.
