Provisional Approval of the Specific Modification of the PGOU of Antas for Sector SR-6.

On May 2nd the provisional approval of the Specific Modification of the General Urban Development Plan (PGOU) has been obtained. This decision, which represents a crucial advance for the urban development of the town of Antas, focuses on the classification and management of the SR-6 Sector of Urban Land for Development, located in the Llanos de San Roque-Huerto de Antas.

This measure is an important urban progress, as it translates into the realization of homes for our neighbors.

With an area of 74,598.80 m² designated as Urban Land for Development, the construction of 249 dwellings is foreseen, which translates into approximately 598 resident inhabitants. In addition, it highlights the allocation of spaces for public equipment, commercial areas, green areas and subsidized housing, thus contributing to the balanced and sustainable growth of Antas.

The creation of a land for residential use will allow the urban growth of the municipality, something that has been demanded by the residents for a long time, and another important point will be the acquisition of public land for public use.

    – Public facilities = 7,830.75 m² (e.g.: Construction of a Sports Pavilion)

    – Commercial Area = 3,501.42 sq.m. (const.supply market, or commercial area)

    – Local System of Open Spaces (Green Areas) = 10,329.36 m² (10,329.36 m²)

    – General System Open Spaces (Green Areas) = 3,653.18 m².

    – VPO Housing (Publicly Subsidized Housing) = 75 Homes.

The favorable sectoral reports subsequently issued support the viability and convenience of this initiative, addressing key aspects such as territorial impact, tourism and historical heritage, among others.

It is important to highlight the adaptation to the needs of the town, with adjustments made to the planning and intended uses after the public information period. These adjustments respond to the requests of the neighbors to diversify the final product and meet the demand for public land.

From the City Council, the Municipal Corporation has worked for the creation of urban land, and the creation of new housing. The revaluation of land resulting from this modification will be positive both for the owners and for the municipality as a whole.

This Specific Modification of the PGOU represents a significant step forward, symbolizing progress, commitment and vision towards a better future for all the inhabitants of Antas. We are facing a unique opportunity for growth and development of our town of Antas.
