Yesterday we were visited by the Secretary of State for Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructure, María González Veracruz, Secretary of State for Telecommunications, accompanied by the subdelegate Jose Maria Martin Fernandez, to meet with our mayor, Pedro Ridao Zamora and the government team to discuss the progress in the digital highways that connect citizens and improve territorial cohesion.
In this meeting it has been highlighted that in our municipality the digital divide has been eliminated with the deployment of fiber and satellite. The Government will launch grants of up to €1,000M for 5G mobile for rural municipalities, in order to avoid a future technological gap.
