The “Diario de Almeria” has published yesterday in the section of Culture and living in Almeria, the event directed by Ana Häsler from 15 to 20 August in our town and the II Master of Lyric Singing.
These events will take place at the Centro de Interpretación de la Cultura Argárica and will be given by the international mezzo-soprano Ana Häsler, with the participation in the intensive course as guest teacher of the pianist, orchestra conductor and composer Miquel Ortega Pujol. The festival is aimed at the promotion and development of opera in the region, and for the first time has the support of the Junta de Andalucía.
The concert on Thursday, August 17 will present a Lyric Gala of Opera, Song and Zarzuela at the foot of the site of El Argar, with the privileged voices of baritone Ángel Òdena, soprano Montserrat Martí Caballé, mezzo Ana Häsler and baritone Luis Santana, tenor and Vera Enrique Parra and Cuban soprano from Holguín Betsy Remedios, winner of Got Talent 2022.
On August 18, the Students’ Final Concert will be held at 1 p.m. at the El Argar Museum, and the Continuous Session during the I Cycle of Cinema Concerts at the old Paca Cinema, with the participation of pianist Pablo Mazuecos with the show La Música en el Cine Mudo and the screening of the documentary Los Orígenes de la Música (The Origins of Music) directed by Pablo Canalís.
Saturday
On Friday, August 18, music lovers will have the opportunity to enjoy the Final Student Concert at 1 p.m. at the Museum of El Argar and, in the evening, a Continuous Session during the I Cycle of Cinema Concerts in the old Paca Cinema of the municipality, in which the pianist Pablo Mazuecos will perform with his show La Música en el Cine Mudo and the documentary Los Orígenes de la Música directed by Pablo Canalís, immersing in the history and foundations of music, can be enjoyed.
On Saturday, August 19, there will be a Musical Guided Tour of our town accompanied by tour guide Juan Gabriel Ruiz Perez and the great young violinists Maria del Mar Jurado and Daniel Zaragoza.
Finally, on Sunday, August 20, there will be a recital featuring the young tuba player Félix Ismael Gallardo Contreras, El Universo del Piano, accompanied on piano by Patricia Muñoz, and the pianist and improviser Francisco Fierro.
