CENTER FOR THE INTERPRETATION OF ARGARIC CULTURE (CICA)
The Argaric Culture Interpretation Center (CICA) is the starting point for discovering one of the most unique civilizations of European prehistory: the Argaric culture, which more than 4,000 years ago made the lands of Antas one of its key territories.
Throughout the tour, the museum’s collection, interpretive panels, and reproductions give visitors insight into the daily life of the Argaric communities of the Bronze Age: their advanced metallurgy, their distinctive pottery, their complex social organization, and the unique burial practices that set them apart in the western Mediterranean.
A must-see for anyone interested in learning about this fascinating civilization.
How can I visit it?
You can visit the CICA on your own, at your own pace, or take a guided tour to discover the Argaric culture with our team. Guided tours require advance reservations.

Winter Season
Mornings: Tuesday through Sunday · 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Afternoons: Tuesday through Saturday · 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Closed on Sundays and Mondays.
Prices
- General admission: 3 euros per person
- Reduced admission: 2 euros per person
- Children under 14: free admission
Reduced-price admission for students (college students with a university ID or youth ID), people 65 and older, large families, etc.

Every Tuesday in July, August, and September. CICA at 6:30 p.m. and Poblado Argárico at 8:00 p.m.
Argaric Morning (in English)
Selected Saturdays—July 4 and 18, and August 1, 15, and 29. Argaric Settlement at 9:30 a.m. and CICA at 11:00 a.m.

“Museum Thursdays” is CICA’s summer cultural program, running from June 25 to September 3, 2026. All activities take place on Thursdays at 9:00 p.m. at the Mirador Pedro Flores (CICA), with free admission.
