After a wait of more than three decades, we announce with great satisfaction the regularization of the Industrial Park. This momentous achievement lays the foundation for sustainable and orderly economic growth in our town.
The Antas Industrial Estate, included within the area delimited as ‘Sector SR-1 Aljoroque’ in the current General Planning, covers more than 15 hectares and is home to 95 companies. For more than twenty years, this zone has functioned as an industrial area, although it had not been developed in accordance with urban planning law. The lack of adequate urban management, the absence of the Compensation Board and the non-approval of the reparcelling project have been some of the challenges faced.
This Monday, July 8, in a Plenary Session, the regularization of the polygon was unanimously approved, giving the green light to its future development, management and execution.
The Urban Development Agreement initially approved establishes a collaboration between the Public Administration and the owners, ensuring the adaptation of the polygon to the urban development regulations in force. This agreement will allow the correct urban development and urbanization of the land, benefiting both the owners and the community in general.
From the City Council, we express our satisfaction with the regularization of the Industrial Park. Today we can talk about the legalization and management of the more than 95 warehouses and owners in the Aljoroque Industrial Park, which generate numerous jobs for our neighbors and nearby towns.
This day marks a very important moment for Antas and its industrial development. With this achievement, the foundations will be laid for a sustainable and orderly economic growth of the Polygon.
