{"id":1868,"date":"2023-01-23T15:26:28","date_gmt":"2023-01-23T15:26:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.antas.es\/index.php\/2023\/01\/23\/fiber-optic-broadband-for-our-neighborhoods\/"},"modified":"2023-01-23T15:26:34","modified_gmt":"2023-01-23T15:26:34","slug":"fiber-optic-broadband-for-our-neighborhoods","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.antas.es\/en\/fiber-optic-broadband-for-our-neighborhoods\/","title":{"rendered":"Fiber optic broadband for our neighborhoods"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The councilman of Urbanism and Sustainable Development of the City Council of Antas, Mr. Pedro Molina Casta\u00f1o attended a meeting on January 19 at the Government Subdelegation in Almer\u00eda with the Secretary of State for Telecommunications, Ms. Mar\u00eda Gonz\u00e1lez Veracruz and the subdelegate of the Government in Almer\u00eda, Mr. Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Mart\u00edn Fern\u00e1ndez.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting was attended by representatives of 72 municipalities of  <a><\/a>The province will benefit from the second call of the Unico-Banda Ancha Program, through which ultra-fast broadband will be implemented in those areas that do not have it, in order to close the digital divide in companies and homes. Work is also being carried out on the implementation of 5G.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This investment, which will especially benefit inland towns of less than 10,000 inhabitants, including the municipality of Antas, is part of the investments planned by the Government of Spain within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan and is financed with Next Generation EU funds.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Specifically and in relation to our municipality of Antas, this Plan will allow the implementation of broadband, through fiber optics, in the neighborhoods of Alj\u00e1riz, La Huerta, Jauro, Los Llanos del Mayor and Los Llanos de Noria Blanca, since within the municipality and other areas, the service of fiber and broadband is implemented.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the City Council of Antas we want to show our satisfaction with this Plan, which will undoubtedly be very beneficial for the residents of our town, as well as for the entrepreneurship that is so important for local economic development.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The councilman of Urbanism and Sustainable Development of the City Council of Antas, Mr. Pedro Molina Casta\u00f1o attended a meeting on January 19 at the Government Subdelegation in Almer\u00eda with the Secretary of State for Telecommunications, Ms. Mar\u00eda Gonz\u00e1lez Veracruz and the subdelegate of the Government in Almer\u00eda, Mr. Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Mart\u00edn Fern\u00e1ndez.
